This will sound dramatic but Notion changed my life and allowed me to start my business. I started using Notion for everything in 2020 and it's now the operation system for my business, brand and content.
Just like Notion, my whole business runs on Google Workspace. We handle large files as an agency and have been able to collaborate seamlessly as a team, and with external parties, by using Google for everything.
This should be no surprise, but no tool has made me more productive than ChatGPT. I used to think I wasn't a technical person, I now use ChatGPT to guide me on how my camera set-up looks and what equipment to buy. Life-changing and only getting better.
I've tried every notetaking tool out there. Fathom is the best. With Fathom you instantly receive the call recording, detailed notes, and action items. What used to lose me at least 5 hours per week organising notes is now automated for myself, and every team member.
Perfect for visionary founders and creatives who need to show, not tell. I'm still blown away that people don't send Looms. I send at least 5x Looms a day and find it so much easier to communicate my ideas by screen recording instead of texts or emails.
A team favourite in my agency, we use Castmagic to transcribe audio and video files as the transcripts are flawless. We then use it as a co-pilot for creating content as you can ask AI about the material. Amazing tool and an amazing team.
Everybody in my remote business tracks their time. This provides invaluable insights into how productive and efficient we're being on a team member level all the way to departments. Assign a dollar value to each person in your workspace and you can easily calculate gross margin and profit. I track my time too to ruthlessly delegate.
Another one loved by the Amplify team. We've tried all the AI video editing tools out there and can comfortably say Veed comes up on top for their features and ease of use. Veed has transformed the ability to edit short-form content.
