Hey team,
We're working SO hard right now to craft the best personal branding course on the market.
I hope you'll join us as a Founding Member in the coming days for an intimate 4-week programme teaching you everything I know.
I'm writing this at 9pm on a Friday. Last week, I was at a conference all week in Switzerland which was incredible.
It was a busy return to work, yet I'm full of energy about what we're building for you.
Nobody really ever talks about the realities of being a creator. Thought I'd share some thoughts about that with you today.
ChatGPT told me that approximately 25% of all internet users globally spend some time in their week creating content.
Given the rewards of professionalising this craft, complaining about life as a creator is likely to draw some unforgiving looks.
Yet, like any career, there are pros and cons to being a creator.
From my experience, almost all of the downsides can be removed if you have a clear strategy, effective systems, and you focus on creating what you enjoy.
But let's normalise some of the downsides to creating content online.
The more you try, the more you water yourself down.
Find your tribe. Talk to them.
Forget the rest.
Every ‘viral moment’ sits on top of a mountain of drafts.
Show up. Do the work.
Let the results catch up.
It’s human nature.
The trick? Use it as motivation.
When your content underperforms, doubt creeps in.
Confidence isn’t magic - it’s built through action.
The bigger you get, the louder the noise.
If your engagement disappears with one tweak, you never had real engagement.
Build an audience that actually cares.
If you stop showing up, people move on.
Find a posting rhythm that works for you - consistency builds trust.
Everyone starts at zero.
The faster you accept it, the faster you improve.
Which truth hit the hardest for you? Reply and let me know - I read every email 👋
It's my brother's stag do tomorrow. Crazy how time flies. Godspeed if you're working over the weekend.
There's so much happening right now.
More from me soon,
